I know, I know the Sears Tower has been renamed and is now the Willis Tower…however with all of the corporate buy outs and the egomania of renaming architecture….I’ve decided that I still want to call it the Sears Tower!

At any rate there is a wonderful restaurant called the Metropolitan Club on the 67th floor, high above the city with absolutely fabulous food, great service and breath taking views…

A friend took me for lunch and that day it was cloudy and overcast, what was interesting is that the restaurant staff kept saying “what a shame that it’s such a rainy day”…I smiled kindly and yet was thinking to myself how thrilled I was that I was high above my adopted city of Chicago during an incredible thunderstorm with lightening crashing everywhere…I love, love, love thunderstorms :)

What a perfect day!
