Shen and I went to the “Vintage Bazaar” here in Chicago…Vendors display their inventory once a month in various locations around town.
One can find true vintage inspiration, from furniture and bric a brac to fabulous vintage clothing and accessories…
Here are some pics from a stall that I found a fantastic dress and I met a wonderful women in full vintage which can be hard to pull off, however I think she did such a fantastic job, such a rare bird…I asked her about her inspiration and she said that she just loves vintage so much that she wears it every day and so she’s always on the look out for special pieces.
Here are two dresses that I purchased….the first one is made from beautiful black silk with delicate flowers it comes to the knee with a typical 60′s cinched waist…I’m going to shorten it and I’ll reveal it in another post…
This next one reminds me of one of my favorite Karla’s Closet posts… I love the jacket she was wearing, the fabric is just fabulous…so I was ecstatic when I found my dress!
